Centrally Located
The Carolan is located one block east of the Metra tracks, near the corner of 55th Street and Cornell Avenue. As you enter the lobby, the office of Marian Realty is to the right and we will be more than happy to assist you with your housing needs. A limited access entry system adds to the security of the building.
Building History
Construction of The Carolan started in 1921 and was completed in 1923. Originally built as a resort hotel, the building remained a hotel until 1977, when it was converted to an apartment building. Many of the apartments have been restored to their original condition.
